Between the highlands of Tepic, two hours driving through dirt roads you get to Cofradías de Chocolón. A little town in the middle of nowhere within at 1400 m.a.s.I with a spectacular view, the breeze of the ocean and, surprisingly, forests that guard coffee plantations with Bourbons and Caturra all over the place, wild coffees with the scars of time. Being in such a particular environment, one is not surprised with the unique and complex cup profile you get from this region.
